• Current Turn Around Times/Wait List

As of May 1st, 2015:

Currently the custom order schedule is full through August, 2015. I will open a wait list in June 2015 for orders shipping in September or later.

  • Custom Orders

Like what you see offered here, but want something a little (or very) different? I would be happy to help you bring the costume of your dreams to life. Simply contact me to begin the process.

  • Payment Methods

currently, Paypal is my primary method of accepting payment. I also accept checks and USPS money orders. Please understand that I wait for all checks to clear before shipment.

  • Deposits & Payment Plans

I happily accept installment plans for large purchases. I require a non-refundable deposit of 30%-50% up front for supplies and initial labor on custom orders. This is done through separate invoices through Paypal. Contact me before purchase at [email protected] to arrange a deposit.

  • Custom Order Cancellations
Due to the nature of custom work, your initial 30% deposit is non-refundable should you decide to cancel during the custom order process. If you have paid in full, you will be refunded minus the 30%.

  • Packing Methods

All purchases are shipped in either clean, recycled boxes, or USPS Priority boxes, depending on size. All pieces are sealed in plastic to protect water damage.

  • Shipping to USA

Ready-made items ship within 48 hrs of purchase. Custom orders ship by the agreed-upon date, according to my turn around times and dependent upon prompt responses/payment from buyer.

All items will be shipped USPS Priority with tracking and insurance. If you would prefer a different carrier, I am flexible. Signature confirmation will be included on all items worth $200 or more. I may also add signature confirmation for Apartment addresses, at my discretion.

I ship to the address listed on your Paypal transaction. Please be certain that this is current and correct.

If there is a problem with your shipment (lost for over 30 days, damaged), I will file an insurance claim and, depending on the item and the circumstances of the situation, re-create it or reimburse you the total value.

  • International Shipping

I ship USPS Priority International, insured. Please understand that in some cases shipping times can be as long as 4-6 weeks. In the event that you need the item by a certain time, I would be happy to upgrade to Express International (the only USPS international shipping option with guaranteed delivery time), for an additional cost.

International customers are responsible for any duty fees incurred at customs in their country. These can be as much as 25% of the item price, so it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with your country's duty fees, VAT, etc. before purchase. Under no circumstances will a package be marked "gift." Full value must be declared for insurance purposes.

There are certain countries that prohibit import of sewn goods like mine, or that have very poor customs and arrival records. If you live in one of these countries, I will contact you to discuss the specifics of shipping your item.

***Why is shipping so expensive? Many of the garments I make are heavy and bulky (Elizabethan gowns), light and three-dimensional(hats), or valuable. All of these qualities carry high shipping and insurance fees. In addition, the USPS recently increased their international shipping costs substantially. ***
